Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), has announced the availability of prepaid taxi services authorized by Tribhuvan International Airpot Civil Aviation Office (TIACAO), to and from the Airport, for both the domestic and international passengers who are travelling during the prohibitory order issued by the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, dated 2078.01.13 B.S.The green number plates and tourist taxis operated by Bimansthal Hawai Yatru Yatayat Sewa Byabastha Ltd, are available on a call basis, CAAN added. Passengers travelling by air can use a ground transportation facility to and from the airport, subject to the possession of a valid air ticket/passport/visa as per the prohibitory order issued by the DAO, Kathmandu.
